ODMdev _private/ Construction Structure

All webs and subwebs developed using Microsoft FrontPage Extensions have a _private folder.  This is reserved for private material such as data collected from forms and for other purposes. 

The ODMdev _private folder is not used.  As for all folders of ODMdev, however, there is an index.htm page providing a default home page for web-site browser navigation.  This page also ensures provision of minimum scaffolding for all folders, used or not.

Important Note: Although the index of this directory is not exposed, this section is not secure.  It is possible to guess and to learn the names of pages in this directory by other means.  To accomplish full privacy and avoid detection of contents, additional safeguards must be employed.  Consequently, use of this folder is for material that cannot be altered but is not to be considered private or secure. 

The Construction Structure is part of the engineering, construction management, maintenance, and infrastructure for ODMdev.  You are welcome to explore this and other construction-information pages.   You'll need your hard hat and safety shoes.
